SERVICES Counseling – Litigation – Arbitration & Mediation – Education/TrainingLabor & Employment – Construction & Real EstateCounseling: Our experience spans thirty years of service to clients. Dedicated to our core principles of integrity and effectiveness, our mission is the best interest of our client and society. Effective legal counseling begins with objective, empathic listening followed by aggressive, courteous pursuit of success. We have always operated on the basis of four obligations: listen to clients, appreciate their business demands, strive to understand their needs, and give them guidance in the law with the goal of helping them achieve success, avoid problems and deal with challenges. Litigation: We represent clients in State and Federal Courts, both jury trials and non-jury trials. Though the vast majority of litigated cases are resolved before trial, we are ready to pursue a case through trial when that is in the best interest of our client. Arbitration & Mediation: We have arbitrated and mediated cases in a wide variety of areas including employment disputes, construction project conflicts, family matters and international transactions. Stanley P. Santire has represented clients in arbitration and mediation at locations across the globe, including Houston, New York, Geneva, London and Riyadh. In mediation we take a facilitative approach and strive for a win/win result. In arbitration, we are objective and fair, giving with full consideration to applicable law and relevant facts. Education/Public Speaking: We are highly experienced in designing and delivering educational programs for clients and others. Stanley Santire is a very active public speaker. We provide programs to small and large employers, including some of the largest corporations in the world, as well as government entities such as cities and counties. In hundreds of full day and half-day programs, we have provided guidance to thousands of managers and employees. Examples projects include: · Discrimination and harassment based on gender, age, disability, age, religion, and cultural differences. · Culture and law in the workplace. · Wage and hour issues such as understanding exempt/nonexempt distinctions. · Drafting and updating employee policies for effective management and conformance to the law. · Deal with privacy in the workplace. Caveat. For ethical reasons, if someone who has first heard us at a program or seminar sponsored by another organization at which an audience paid a fee to hear us speak ever contacts us with a request to provide a program or seminar, we always refer the inquiry to that organization. Labor & Employment: Labor and employment law deals with the relationship between management and employees. Though we have had occasion to represent employees, we concentrate on representing management. This area of the law requires an understanding of management principles, organizational structural, and workplace psychology. Construction & Real Estate: We have extensive experience in a wide range of construction and real estate issues, ranging from construction contracts and real estate transactions to mechanic’s & materialman’s liens.
